What are the current prices?

Can you buy a block of time..like 2 hours. Or is it just the whole cruise or by the minutes.

Also, can you log on to AOL or AIM. I have a teenage daughter who may have a heart attack if she does have her internet for 10 minutes a day. I figured I could use it as an attitude adjuster if it's affordable.

Thanks!

I'm almost 16 years old so I understand your daughter not wanting to leave the computer. In the Common Grounds on the last cruise we were told it was 30 dollars for 30 minutes... but I can promise her she won't want to use the computer. The word computer didnt even cross my mind when I was on the cruise... And plus... Where else would you want to be other then on a ship to some totally awesome island?! With everyone who's there and everything there is to do she probably wont need it

The cost is either by the miniute (pretty sure it is .75 cents with the first 5 minutes free) or the whole cruise.

From what I remember it was cheaper to pay for the whole cruise on a 3 night and went up from there for 4 and 7 nights.

The exact costs are at home. If someone has not posted them before I will add them tonight.

From what I can recall, the cost is .75 per minute or $89.99 for unlimited on the 7 night and $39.99 for the 3 & 4 night cruises .... Andy

$89.00 unlimited for the 7 day cruise....not sure about the shorter cruises.

Where and when would you do this.

Hey, you have to be in it to win it! :bounce: :bounce:

if I were to get unlimited for the whole cruise, would I be able to share the account with my husband?

He would have to log in under your account. Used it for the 3 day cruise. Was well worth the 39.99

i didn't see an answer about using aim.. anybody know? Also, it's a bit techie.. but can you ssh in somewhere to check your mail? ie.. not use a browser or mail client like ms outlook. I guess maybe a better question would be, do you have access to the actual computer (dektop) not just a web browser you can't exit out of?

optionally, is there a place to plug in your own laptop and get online, or even wireless? :teeth:

Thanks in advance,

You can use AIM on the computer. Not sure what SHH is, but know that you need to access e-mail through a web browser. That's the only way I could do it. Maybe someone else knows another way.

You can not use your own equipment & no wireless access is available to guests :(

nope no ssh. it's just a web front end. i tried some simple tricks like launching a telnet session from the address line (telnet://server.name) and that didn't work either. this was 3 years ago so i dunno if there are any new changes.
