Hi, all! I'm doing pretty good with a lot of abbreviations on the net so far. Like LOL. A lot of times I can figure them out or ask someone I know, but I've had trouble on this discussion forum a few times. Is there a place here that lists most of the ones that are common here? If not, can y'all tell me what CM is? I saw it several times among the restaurant threads. Also if there is not a place already, I hope that I'll see some lists posted in reply to this, 'cause there have been several that I couldn't figure out. TIA! :thumbsup2

CM = Cast Member (what Disney calls their staff)
Check out the Info for Newbies sticky thread on this board. It may help you figure some of what we say out!

Actually I read all through that thinking I'd find just such a list, before posting my question. So either it is not there or I am somehow missing it, when it is right under my nose.

Cm does usually mean Cast Members (Disney Employees), but it might have been Chef Mickeys (Character buffet at the Comtemporary Resort) if you were looking on the restaurant threads.

Hi out there! This is one of the reasons that I tend to post using full terms -- I am sure that at least ONE person doesn't know everything we are talking about :confused3 Don't forget that EVERYONE here is very friendly and more than willing to help you figure out what they said :thumbsup2
