Internet Explorer Help Needed

When I click on a link to open a new web page or right-click on a link and choose to open in a new window the page never loads. A new IE window does open, but the data never loads. I've never had this happen before and I can't seem to figure out why this is occuring. Can anyone help me fix it?

Nope, no pop-up blocker. I've looked everywhere and just can't seem to figure this one out. But maybe I'm looking too hard.

my only thought is to restart your pc and try again. maybe your internet options have changed, disallowing certain types of programs from opening.

Thanks, but I've already tried that. Wonder if I just kick it real hard if that will help? I know it won't but it might make me feel better.

It's really got me upset because I was trying to check my work e-mail and I can't even open those because they open in a new window! ahhhhh!

Is it only certain sites that don't load? DH had a problem the other week where a certain website would simply return the "page not found" error. Apparently the website was having difficulties and he learned that other were also having a hard time accessing it as well.

that would be a javascript problem.. windows uses javascript to open new windows.

you can get an update at http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/ or just reinstall internet explorer

It doesn't even get that far. The window where the page should load is blank. It looks like whatever else you had opened and closed or minimized.

Larry - Thanks. I believe we will reinstall IE this evening.
