Internet by the hour

We are going to be staying at Pop and I know I can get it for $10 a day or so- but I don't need it all that time (or want to pay all that money) but I would like to be able to check my mail after a few days- we will have a laptop with us- is there anywhere that has wireless or where you can rent by the hour?

From what I've read, it's $5/hour or $10/24 hours.
