I will be staying at CBR from May 14th-20th and WL from May20th-23rd. How is the internet situation there? Do they offer at these resorts? Do I have to pay extra or is it already there in the all the rooms. We have a Water View room at CBR and a Courtyard view at WL. Any help is appreciated. We are hoping we can bring our laptop with us and use while we are there. :happytv:

The cost is $9.95 for a 24 hrs period I know WL has it & sure CBR does as well ;) Believe all the resorts at Disney has internet connection at a fee of course.:rotfl2:

I hear the Disney Sports Complex has free internet...so do you take your laptop with you or do you use their computers?

Not sure about the Sports Complex could be but never heard of Disney "giving anything away free" Could be wrong :lmao:

I know in the business centers you pay for them but they have computers there on site. :) Good luck I am sure others will know about it. I just take my laptop & maybe use it once or twice if I am not near a business center ;)

Yes, in fact Wide World of Sports does have free Wi-Fi access. So just bring your laptop, or in my case my iPod Touch. It worked pretty well.

Just a warning - the "high speed" internet that you pay $10/24hours for is anything but! It was fine for checking my e-mail but I had thought since I paid for 24hrs and only needed about 1hr for work, I would game for a bit while the kids swam and the connection wasn't anywhere near fast enough for that.

My advice would be that if you have an internet account that you can dial into using a local number from WDW, you're probably better off doing it that way. I don't think their access was noticeably faster than a 56K modem, and I wouldn't pay for it again. I'll just find a local number to dial into my Yahoo account.

We have an AT&T Wireless Card for our laptop and it worked great at CBR..at POP we had to purchase the 24 hour internet usage because even our wireless card didn't work......I don't know if you can get a AT&T Wireless Card for a month but it might be worth checking into.....
