We will be on a 15 day vacation and I must have interent access. I have high speed at home with a dial-up backup because I take classes online. I have timed quizzes and am concerned that the connection may be slow (I will use the dial-up backup @ the resort, all star movies). If it is too slow for the timed quizzes, Can I purchase the High Speed for a day here and there.
Is there anywhere that i can get wifi on property?
We will have a car, but I would prefer to just stay on property. We did get waterpark & more option, does Disney Quest have access?

A few people have reported free wi fi in the parking lot of Wide World of Sports. That would be the only place on property with free wi fi.

High-speed wired internet access in all the WDW resort rooms is $9.95 per 24-hour period. But you don't have to enable it for your entire stay; you CAN enable it for a day here and there as you need it.

There is no free wireless access provided at any WDW resort; wireless access is available in the lobbies and public areas of some of the resorts (mostly those with convention facilities) for a fee - $4.99 for the first 60 minutes, or $9.95 for 24 contiguous hours.

There is free internet at Disney Quest (5th floor I think), but there are a limited number of terminals. And they are very slow and prone to kick you off.

was terrible there. YOu paid $9.95 for 24 hours of service. Most of the time we could not connect. Seemed to be related to how many people at the lodge were also trying to connect.

The internet access at DisneyQuest is very slow and I wouldn't advise using it for your needs.

We used the internet during our stay, however, my DH has an air card from work to get internet access where ever he may be on business and that worked great. My past experience with the internet access to the hotels was okay and I didn't have any problems.
