Hi folks,

We awill be leaving for the Newport Bay Club on Tuesday. Can anyone tell me if the hotel provides internet access or, if not, if there is anywhere in the resort that does.

Thanks.

I've just had a look at the Newport Bay information leaflet from last autumn, and it says

"Wi-fi access service available in the bars, in your room (for floors 5 to 8) and at the Convention Center"

Doesn't mean much to me, but I hope it's of some help to you!!

There is wifi in your room.
10 Euro for two hours and 40 euro for ?

You can buy a telephone card in the shop of the hotel. It looks like a CC.
There’s an code on the card. Start your lap top and just fill in the code.
Simple ,easy and it works very fast.

One extra option then just the Wifi is the Santa Fe hotel has pay as you go computer terminals use.

Sorry I should have made it clear that I need a terminal as I won't be using a laptop.

Holiday Inn also has a terminal but I can't comment how well it connects :confused3

Yes the Santa Fe does have terminals although they are a little tempramental (like most things French :) )

Smoething like 1 Euro for 10 mins (which I found varied quite a bit) But still better than lugging laptops about!

That’s just a matter of giving it to the bell boy and later put it in your closet.
That’s all.

That, and having to pack it up at home along with all the rest of your luggage, carry it through the airport, pass it through customs, hope it doesnt get put on a different flight, then carrying it TO the hotel, then realising you forgot the right power connectors etc......... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

How DID we keep in contact before the internet??? :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
