I called the Dolphin to find out what I need to bring to access their internet system. The girl at the front desk wasn't sure. For anyone that has been there, do I need to take my own cable? And if so, is it a phone connection or an ethernet connection?

Thanks,

Ken

There is a place on the phone to 'plug in' and connect to the internet.
You could also go downstairs to the business area - they have places to connect to the internet, thinkpads to use, shipping area, copy machines,.... the works for convention people - but as a guest, you have the right to use the facilities too. My DH did when he brought work :rotfl: with him on one of our vacations - we went swimming :fish: in the pool all AM - our best time in the pool 9 AM on a weekday. :cool1:

Per the swan/dolphin website:
Two 2-line telephones with data port
High-speed Internet access

Usually the port on the phone is for dial up. They have high speed in the rooms. They may have ethernet cables but if you have one I would bring it.

I guess I'll play it safe and take a phone AND ethernet cable :earboy2:

Thanks for the replies.

Ethernet cables are provided.

If one is not in the room already, you need only call the front desk.

Thanks Poohlovr,

That's one less thing I need to worry about :) .
