International Gateway

Does anyone one know what time they let you through the gate at the international gateway if you don't have pre-park opening ADR? I'd like to hit sorin' before my 10am Garden Grill ADR. Need to know if I'll be at the gate at 9am or at the entrance to Future world.

They'll let you in when the park opens, maybe a bit earlier. Just because the entrance is in World Showcase, doesn't mean they won't let you in until World Showcase opens.

We stay at BWV, annually during Spring Break.

We have had a variety of experiences.

Once, they opened IG prior to park opening, then you walked to the area by the fountains and held behind a rope. The folks who came in the front are held behind a rope across from you.

Another time they opened it a little earlier than park opening and we walked to Soarin. The front guests were let in early as well.

We have never had a problem, in terms of timing, coming through the IG.

This was our experience as well. We've ridden Soarin' at RD utilizing the IG entrance and have always gotten on the ride quickly.

Guests who want to use Epcot's International Gateway can park in the DHS lot.
It's about a 25 min. walk or Friendship boat ride away.

You need to be staying at BW, YC/BC or the S/D in order to use their parking lots! They aren't there for easier access to Epcot, or DHS. Unless you want to pay to valet park. Then, you're good to go.
