What time do they stop letting people in the IG in EPCOT? I was thinking of trying to get to EPCOT to see Illuminations after seeing Fantasmic at MGM. I'll be there in December. Fantasmic starts at 7, Illum. starts at 9. Do you think this is possible? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions you can give me.

Actually, Illuminations starts at 9:30 in December, so you should be able to do it. The fastest way would be to walk, unless the boat happens to be boarding right as you get out of the Studios and you can get on it; if that happens, take it to Boardwalk and walk from there. The gates should be staffed right up to closing time to let you in (assuming your tix allow park hopping).

Just to verify, not only can it be done, it has been done-I did it several years ago. I walked from MGM to Epcot.

Yes it definitely can be done. Either take the boat or walk. If you feel like walking you probably could get there even quicker, since you wont be waiting in line w/everyone else after Fantasmic.

Just to be clear.

They do not EVER "stop letting people in the IG."

(Even after-hours the IG is open for a LONG time, to allow guests in and out of Epcot.)

So if the park is open, the IG will be staffed with CM's to take your tickets.

The IG is a "real" park entrance.
