International Food and Wine Festival FOODS!!

I'm enjoying the photos! Thanks to all those that are posting them!

Making my MUST TRY list as I go along...:dance3:

Imagine the worst thing you've ever tasted...

Now try to imagine what the EXACT OPPOSITE would taste like.

The frozen s'more is even better.

I need a few more details, lol! Is it like a milkshake? Or more icy?

The dessert at Australia was not good at all.

I just wrote about the Pavlova in Australia on the pinned Epcot food and wine fest thread.

It really isn't a true pavlova in my eyes. The meringue was overcooked, hard as a rock and chalky. The vanilla custard was not a custard at all but a skimpy ladled over sauce. The berries were fresh.

I make a lemon curd custard pavlova and I find the trick to success is that the meringue should be cooked on the outside like a crust but once cut into should be a light and fluffy inside.

I didn't know whether to be sad about it being not good or whether to be happy about how well mine come out. Hah!

Subscribing! :thumbsup2 Also have a question: DH and I are spending 2 days at F&W for our 25th wedding anniversary. I have budgeted $100/day. Does that sound reasonable? FWIW, we do have dinner ADRS for both nights, but plan on sharing if we don't have much of an appetite after doing F&W.

i love f&w.:goodvibes

usually spend days there and have eaten food from every country represented. then go back for seconds of my favs on the last day. once i a while i get something that i do not finish because i don't like it, but not often.

i eat breakfast before going into the f&w area around noon to 1:00pm and then don't need to eat any other meal that day.

You're not including the TS in the $100, are you? If you share all of the F&W items you can get a good amount for $100... Whether or not its reasonable completely depends on what you're hoping to sample of course. You can look at the menus and their prices (disneyfoodblog.com) and see what you think. I am a very light eater and only got a couple of drinks, and DH and I went through a good bit more than that. It adds up so quickly.

No, the $100/day is strictly for the F&W kiosks.
