Internal Bus for SSR?

Hello! When I was at SSR in January, maybe my timing was off, but I never saw an internal bus (just the DTD bus on the "weird" route) and was wondering if they only run them at certain times of the year or if they are going to add that when the resort is finished or what? There was an internal bus at OKW when we were there in October, and having stayed at the far end of both resorts, I must say, I think that SSR could benefit from one at least as much as OKW does! Anyone have more info?

with OKW you can get on the bus at any stop and get taken to HH.

doesn't SSR work this way too?

what are the bus stops for SSR in order?

I am at SSV now (and LOVING it!) and saw an internal bus yesterday. Because of our amazing room location and our laid back agenda, I haven't needed to take a bus as of yet, but if and when I do I will post back with specifics.

Yes, it works that way at SSR too, but we were staying at the Carousel last month and the order seemed to be:

Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park, Springs then out of the resort.

Downtown Disney was a little different - it seemed to be Congress Park, Springs, Carousel, Paddock and then out that side exit to DTD.

It works fine to catch any bus to get to the Springs, but then you are pretty much going to be walking back, or waiting for the DTD bus, I guess, if you want a ride back out to the Carousel, which is, granted, a whole 10 minute walk.

OKW works a little better - because the first bus stop is easily walking distance from HH. so you walk to this bus stop and take it to your building.

Oh, that is really true! A major issue in play is that the first stop is a ten minute walk from the Carriage House. I wonder if that will change when they put in the Grandstand bus stop, which could be closer to CH, I guess? Cause if you could walk a few minutes to that one and ride it around to Carousel, Paddocks etc. That would kind of solve that problem, a bit, eh? Of course if that bus stop is also a 10 minute walk from the CH....

Keep in mind that OKW is pretty much a linear resort that you cannot cross in most places to get from one area to the other. SSR is NOT as spread out as people make it to be. It was only an 8 minute walk from the further Congress Park building to the Carriage House. With the Carriage House somewhat in the center of the resort, no units are that far from the Carriage House, though some units may be some walk from each other. My elderly parents and I were amazed at how easy SSR was to walk and how reasonably close together things really were compared to the impression we got on the boards.
