Interesting tid bit from CM RE: New Codes

Just got off the phone with a VERY helpful CM - was trying for the GV at GF.
He said my dates and room type "should" be coming up but were not. I asked of course, if there was some way to "make the system cooperate". (HA!)
He said that he couldn't, but explained that sometimes* they release the codes incrementally so that everyone has a fair chance of getting them, and that since this code was just released this AM, to try back again tomorrow or later this evening, because by all accounts, I SHOULD be able to get it for my room type.

I found this interesting - he sounded very knowledgeable and checked on MANY deluxes for me, so I know he would have booked it if he could.

Thanks for the tip! That would make sense b/c it sounds like most of the AP rooms have been sold out this morning. Here is hoping that more will be released tomorrow!

I called about the GF GV also. I asked if any other codes were to be released and the cast member told me to watch TV tomorrow.

My CM said they never know until they walk into work in the morning. HMMMM - Maybe once they start releasing codes they get more of a sense of what's happening next. That was the impression I got!

No, no that's fine..is this the EWV code?

I am going to get a voucher for an AP anyway, so it's good to know. ALL codes are good to know because some are better than others or for different time frames!!

I know I am not supposed to post it, and I can't because I didn't even write it down - but if you search these threads (today's) you'll find it - there was a link to it within someone else's thread.

Am I making ANY sense??

Ok, this is getting interesting! I tried to call earlier today approx 10-11am eastern time. CM I talked to acted like she had no clue and offered no help whatsoever except to rec I call back in NOV!!! I have res for AK in March. 2 days showed blackout, 2 days not. If I want to try to jump on this, is this going to be like Cinderellas Breakfast...on the phone @7am sharp praying? Also, just hearing from this about EWV code. Would like to know about that one. We don't have AP's, so we need this GP code badly.

Do you think there is *ANY* chance at all, that there will be codes released for the week starting Easter sunday?

rockin_rep ~ I called this morning asking about code BDP for the first 4 nights of our Easter stay (3/23/05 - 3/27/05 at Pop Century) before we move over to OKW for 5 nights using our DVC points. I was told no codes available past 2/16/05. Like any good DISer, I hung up and called back! I was able to get 4 nights at PC for $79 (+ tax). So, I would say that that code should be valid for a stay beginning Easter Sunday. I think our DIS motto should be "Never Give Up"!!!

I called and asked about this code about 15 minutes ago and I was told this code does not exist. What are the dates it is valid for?
