Interesting note re ETSA

Hey folks

Quick note for any potential future brides!! Was on putting in the details for ESTA for our Honeymoon in July and as we've set up Ruth for her married name, her passport doesn't start until 25th June.

As such, the ESTA won't accept it....thankfully we are going a week after the wedding but what are people supposed to do if they're leaving the next day??

Also, when I clicked confirm on my own application, it simply sent me back to the homepage and I haven't had an e-mail through? Should I need to worry?

My mum went away right after her wedding, she just used her old passport and previous name, and did so for several years afterward on our trips to Florida. As long as the name on the passport and the name on the ticket match, it's okay.
