Interesting mailing I received from DL

So, I got a mailing from DL yesterday, cute, unfolded into a long rectangle that looked like the monorail... and in it was a little brochure that was customized for our upcoming trip. Two pages were about entertainment/themed rides that would be available when we are there--no hard facts--but it mentioned HM holiday, SM Ghost Galaxy, the (I forgot the name) Halloween fireworks, BTMRR (no idea what that has to do with Halloween!), TOT, World of Color was mentioned, as well as TSMM... no specifics, just like "You'll love these rides and this entertainment when you are here in October." No mention whatsoever of the ToTP though, which surprised me...

The other strange this was on another page it was like "as a guest of a DL Resort hotel you get access to:" and it listed ToonTown Morning Madness, Character Calls and MM... which as far as I know, I only get MM since I didn't buy a package...

Anyhow, I thought it was an interesting mailer...

Disney sometimes has the most interesting marketing. Because I have a VERY common Hispanic last name (no one in my family is Hispanic - my husband is Filipino) we get hispanic-targeted mail from DLR from time to time. The best was when my husband got a certificate for a free park hopper ticket, it was all in Spanish but we figured it out We also regularly get this Spanish Disney magazine. The magazine is super cute; I wish it was in English!

I agree with you about the mailers. You never know what you will get. On the years that we have a WDW trip planned we get a ton of offers for Disneyland. This year we are going to Disneyland and have recieved two pins for discounts at WDW. Go figure.

We got the same mailer for June but it had the Crowne Plaza instead of the Paradise Pier which is weird because we stayed at the Crown last year in march and Paradise in December. My DH saw this and had me sign in and verify our reservation. Can wait till June 19th
