Well, in my quest to get more info out of a CM about the AP rates that are being released tomorrow I found out something interesting. He told me that all resorts as well as well as MOST views would be available with the rates. EVEN MOVIES!! Yes, he did say MOVIES!!! I couldn't believe it, so if you're waiting for an AP rate, tomorrow is the day. He read me the screen that popped up when I asked for AP rates. It said that they are pending, and that they can't be booked until tomorrow 10/28. He did tell me that it is possible that they might not be available at 7:00, since someone in marketing has to check them out before they are officially released just to make sure that they were uploaded sucessfully. So, call tomorrow and good luck to all!!!

Will the AP rates be for all of 2003? We are planning a trip in Deceber 2003 - will these rates out tomarrow help me? Thanks for your help!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

My first call seeking information about AP rates for June was met with the rates won't be out until January or February for that time period. That's been true in the past.

My second call I was told that I could get my AP rate for June tomorrow a.m. He said the AP rates out currently only extended until February BUT tomorrow the rates I was seeking would be available.

He also, curiously enough, mentioned there is a $169 rate right now (he called it an introductory rate) for YC/BC available. I'm not sure of the dates it is available. . .and he didn't volunteer.

When I mentioned to him that I know others had received the AP rates for dates in May--he said he didn't know how since they won't be available until 10/28 and reiterated the only Passholder or Mickey Monitor rates he could offer today are those for Jan/Feb.

While the information he supplied wasn't completely helpful--he was a good deal more helpful than the first reservationist. She was adamant that there would be no rates beyond March available until January/February.

Flip a coin I guess--the real answer is probably somewhere between the two answers I received. You can bet I'll be calling tomorrow a.m. anyway, just to check!

This is crazy

I just called and was told no may rates yet!!

Tess Do you know if the $169.00 rate at YC/BC introductory rate is an AP rate or open to anyone? I have very anxiously awaiting a code rate for the YC for our 1 night stay in Jan. and the waiting is killing me LOL. If I could get the $169.00 rate now I would be soooooo happy!:bounce:

You have to love the info coming out of CRO. I called today and here is how my call went.

I asked if any Annual Passholder rates for Feb were out yet and the woman stated that they were in pending status with a note that they would be realeased on the 28th. I asked if she could see any rates and she poked around a little and said no that she could not see any rates and that I should call back tomorrow. I called the 1-407-W- DISNEY number.

Cheryl N: He didn't indicate whether or not the $169 introductory rate was an AP rate. When I called I was asking about a one night stay at AKL and he gave me the rack rate for June. I then asked if there was an Passholders/Mickey Monitor Rate for that date. He then indicated that those rates would be available 10/28.

I asked if he could give me an idea of those rates and he said that all he could give now was those AP rates for Jan/Feb. Then he added that there was currently available an introductory rate for YC/BC and it was $169 for a standard view. I'm not really sure of the time frame for that rate, he was simply giving it as an indication of what standard view rates would be when the APs are released tomorrow. I know, however, that we won't get that good a deal in June--the rates are a regular season, not value as they are in Jan/Feb.

It would be best to call and ask about the "introductory rate" for YC/BC and see what you can work out. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Tess Thanks for the info, I'll give a call and see if I can get a helpful CM and see what I come up with, otherwise I'll just have to keep hoping for a code rate. Thanks again!

Does anyone know when I should look for Dec. 2003 AP rates? Never gotten AP before but if the rate is good on the room then it would be worth buying an AP. I just don't know when the rates for that time would be out.

I just called for AP rates (through the DC #) and was told only value available was Sports and only preferred view. Was only $5 less than my current DC rate at music so kept that.
Oh well maybe later.(MY dates are 1/1 to 1/4)

Hi,

I was able to get an AP rate for our upcoming Feb 1st through the 6th trip at CSR. $79 a night plus tax. This is a great rate as rack rate during this time frame is $133 a night plus tax.

I was also quoted $169 a night plus tax at the YC/BC standard view room.

People are also reporting that the All Stars are going for $49 a night with this rate.

Good luck.

Maroney....

You can't call the DC number...you have to call the regular 407 number!
