One of the castle family was in a host game the other night. While standing in line, the Host stated, "Each person can win a host game only once per day. That is person, not guest. So, if you have already won, please do not log back in as a different guest." I had a different staff member confirm this.

Looks like there may be some effort to cut down on the guests who keep logging back in with mules for multiple wins and trades from Host events. Just thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention since before the rule was "a guest cannot win more than once."

Hi Bev

I do not see how they could determine this. Both me and my DS play and the last time I looked we were two different people.

How do they know how many live in your home and what of the kids at boarding school playing on the same computer. Those IP addys would all be the same.

Can not see how they can enforce this one and will be highly dissappointed with VMK if they do.

Not to mention all those who do not have static IP addresses- when I log on I have a new IP address every time I do so...

But again- I am with Mal- we have 4 players in our house- that would not be fair not to allow all in our family a chance to win a prize.

Although I do think it isn't great when people load tons of mules on just to get more when lines are already rather long- but I suppose that is the price we all pay for those mules...

SO although they may say this- and yes it may convince a few to not play again- I do not see how they could determine who is being which player.

It does seem like that would be hard to enforce but then we don't know exactly what information they can pull up on a person instantly. We have three players here too, but we all use our correct birthdate and first name on our accounts. Even on my mules I have my first name and my birthdate, so if you looked at them, you could see they are all me. :confused3

I have no idea how they would enforce, just passing along the information.

That is not fair in a case like Mal's where there really is more than one person. I think that VMK is cracking down on the players now :(

I know you don't I just was expressing what I feel and how I did not see how they could control this or monitor it.

Person? Guest? What's the difference? It pretty much boils down to ethics anyway, doesn't it? Cyberworld certainly provides a wide range of opportunity for the exercise of (free speech?) alter-egoing, don't you all agree? It's so EASY to hide behind a keyboard! So, with that in mind . . VMK's attitude might be something like: "Well, two or three or four from one IP is certainly understandable, and therefore within acceptable parameters. However . . . Eight or ten or twenty . . . ?" Might be just a gentle "tsk tsk" and a finger shake on their part, might it not? Designed more to shame than to threaten punishment.
