I found an interesting article on Southwest's scheduling proceedure. It sheds some light as to why we have to wait so long for the schedules to be released.

That is too cool . I just glad it works and do have no problem waiting for my dates to open as they are cheap and hardly ever change at all.

It also looks like they are about to open some more dates as well but not on a thursday like normal.
