I heard an unrelated bit of news on the radio that stated that Paul McCartney never liked Phil Spector's "wall of sound" approach to the Beatles' Let It Be album and that Sir Paul plans to remix and re-release it without all the heavy orchestrations.

Such a tragedy that Phil was never able to control his illness.

Phil has the two major mental illnesses: Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder. It's too bad the treatment wasn't working, maybe he wasn't being treated. What catastrophic results for him. I'll bet his staff feel lucky it wasn't one of them who got killed and sooner.
