Interested in AP

Hi,

Am I reading this right? If I have an AP - I can get a discount up to 100 dollars a night in the Poly?

I am planning another trip for early March - DW and I have a 5 day non-expiring park hopper. But DD who I need to still buy tix for.

Perhaps - since the tix are non-expiring ... and we are planning an October trip as well - I get an AP and go for the AP discount. Then over a year from now I could use those 5 days?

An AP does not allows guarantee a room or package discount. Chances are there will be one available. But that is just an extra perk, and not a guarantee.
I think you could even apply the tickets you have towards APs. (One current ticket towards one AP. Tickets cannot be combined towards payment of one AP.)
Unless things have changed I don't think you have to have an AP in hand to book an AP rate. But you will need an AP at check in.

In Feb last year we got a AP discount at WL. For our Dec trip I called every couple of days trying to get another AP discount. No Luck. I was told that only a few rooms are made available at the AP rate and it is not offered at every resort. Good Luck.

We're buying one AP for our upcoming March trip, just to get the AP discount for the Poly. We've already had the savings applied to our room only reservation. We just have to buy one before we check in. We saved $131 off the rack rate for each night ($449-$131=$318) WOW, not bad for peak season at the Poly. We wound up saving about $700 to do this---Gotta love that !!
