Interested in a spa

Really wanting to get a deep tissue massage on my upcomming trip!

Does anyone have any experience with either Senses at the Grand Flo or Mandara at Swan and Dolphin? Was your time there worth the high cost? What else did you enjoy about your time at either particular spa?

Went to Senses for a 2 hour massage and it was HEAVEN.

I've done both and preferred the service more at the Mandarin, but enjoyed the lounge area more at GF. I've been to Mandara multiple times because I can use my D23 card for a discount. We do Senses at GF every trip. It's fantastic. I also had a really good massage at AKL last year.

I would love to try a massage on vacation, but won't pay $100+ for a one hour massage. If I could find a normal price (we pay $59 at the place we go to at home as part of their club. $79 for non members).

Really? Both spas near my house charge $125 for a 50-minute massage. Resort spas cost what they cost but I don't think the GF spa is too crazy.

Wow, that seems very high to me! I live in one of the most expensive areas of CT and our local luxury day spa charges $90 for 60 minutes.

Yep. We have a membership at a spa and it's $59/month for a 60 minute massage (used to be $49). If you are a non-member it's $79. The therapists are wonderful and the place is lovely.
