Interactive Wands for return trip

So we bought the kids the interactive wands and they both look forward to using them again. It made wonder I hope they still work?

Anyone brought a wand back after a year and half?

They will still work.

If they don't work take them back to Olivanders. They will do some wand repairs (I think they just replace it with a new one).

This SHOCKED me. We took a 3-year old wand back and the interactive part stopped working. I took it to Ollivanders just to see if there was a simple trick that they knew to maybe fix it (cleaning it, blowing on it like an old Nintendo cartridge, something like that) but without any hassle they said sure we can fix it and grabbed a new one off the shelf.

They even work at the opposite coast! We originally bought ours in Orlando a few years ago and recently took them to Hollywood. If you show it at Ollivanders they give you the map for that specific park. So impressed!
