interactive wand from previous trip?

We leave today for our trip to universal and have a quick wand question...we were at universal 2 yeas ago for a day trip and bought our girls interactive wands. I have been assuming these wands will still work for this trip, but thought I should check to make sure. I began to wonder if they will need new batteries or something?

No batteries needed. Unless the glass orb on the end is cracked/damaged, you should be good to go.
