Does Mickey come around to the tables? DD loves him, and we cant get into Chef Mickey's at all for her birthday!!! :sad2: :sad1: So I am attempting Ohanas this time. Any reviews???

Yes, Mickey is there along with Lilo, Stitch and Pluto. We did this meal this summer and really enjoyed it. Standard breakfast fare with great juice and bread. :)

we have made the breakfast at Ohana twice and it´s very good, basic but good food, fantastic bread, wonderful place, and a very good interaction specially with Stich and also with Lillo and Mickey, you will love this breakfast, Hope this help and have a Magical year.:dance3:

This place had great character interaction, the best that we have seen....we are going back again in a few weeks and cannot wait

When we went they had a little parade too. They gave the kids tamborines and maraccas and had them march around with the characters. My kids loved it.

I thought the character interaction here was excellent. One thing I was very impressed with was the fact that the character handlers actually let each table enjoy the characters while they were at that table. We have been to a few character meals where our visit was interrupted by other guests walking up to the characters, interrupting, pulling on them, asking them to come back to their table (that they just spent 10 minutes at, taking pics with everyone:confused3 ) and the handler never seemed to "get a grip on it" so to speak. We actually saw them send a few guests away from other tables (all adults, BTW).

We love 'Ohana Mickey!! Our Chef Mickey seemed a little rushed (as does Pooh every time we're at CP ), but 'Ohana Mickey stayed and played for the longest time with DS and DNiece. He's also very cute in his Hawaiian shirt!! The rest of the characters were wonderful, too!! I have a great video of the parade and Stitch handed me a maracca, Lilo waved right at my camera and Mickey waved to DS (whom my mom was holding because he got a little lost on the other side of the restaurant ). Pluto is always funny, too. He loves to kiss the ladies' hands!

Took DH there for his Bday brekky and we loved it. Let the CMs know it you little ones Bday. And yes lots of Mickey time:thumbsup2

THANKS EVERYONE!!!! I feel so much better now!! I Had a huge mix up on hotels at priceline, and that set off my worried trip planning. THis is a bit last minute, and all the hotels on property are booked for a convention! Now I am happy I got OHana's for her, she just LOVES Mickey!!!

This is our new favorite breakfast place. Food was good and character interaction was great. Pluto led the parade while holding my little one's hand.

We also LOVED this breakfast and we loved it more than Chef Mickeys. If we had a choice between the two, we would take Ohana's breakfast over Chef Mickeys.

It is a "must do" for us. Our entire family loves it, the food and the characters.

Add us to the fans too! It was really fun and the food was awesome. Definitely arrive early though - there was quite a line to check in - the longest of any we experienced the whole trip!!

We had a late breakfast there yesterday (Jan. 3rd). We had Chef Mickey's scheduled for Tues. Dec. 30th for DD's 12th birthday but she had pneumonia:sick: and I was only able to get O'hana's later that week. We were very pleased with the food and the character interaction. We had an 11:20 reservation and were seated quickly. It was a great experience.

What is the food like? Are there waffles?

Maggie

If you check out the food porn threads there are pictures of the O'hana breakfast on one of them. I can't remember which one. But I distinctly remember someone commenting "in my next life I want to hand out Mickey Waffles at 'ohana." HTH

This is the most underrated of the character breakfasts, and relatively easy to reserve a table.

there are mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits, bacon, sausage, and potato wedges. There is also fresh fruit, pineapple bread, and cinnamin bread. YUMMO! This is a must do for us every trip!
