I know that the DVC insurance waives the pre-existing conditions exclusion if you pay for it at the same time as you pay your annual dues. Has anyone done this? Do you just do the two transactions on the same day, like online? Or does there have to more of a connection than that?

I have a February Use Year so I called in January and purchased the insurance. I had them put the cost on my credit card and they sent me all the documentation via email. I guess I am covered for preexisting conditions.

We paid our dues online and then purchased the insurance online just after that. Confirmation emails are all date and time stamped and I've retained for our records. I called Member services and asked if there was anything else I needed to do to be certain the pre existing condition would not apply and they said there wasn't.

Great! Thanks for the info. I'm going to do both right now.

I also questioned this and was told pre-existing is covered if you pay beofre your dues.

is it just a UK thing or do you not think the medical cover of $25,000 is low. when taking out insurance here to go insurance companies are covering £10,000,000 which is about $15,000.000
