We are sailing on the Feb 3rd, and now know that we are expecting and are really rethinking insurance. Not big on spending $257 via DCL, which insurance co./type of coverage should we consider with it being dh, ds 2.5, myself & 23 week old baby to be? Thanks in advance for any advice
I always use TravelGuard, much cheaper than buying the cruiseline insurance. There's a website that lists a comparison of all the insurance companies, hopefully someone here can give you the link.
That's so weird, I just booked through AAA, and they didn't offer anything outside of the DCL insurance. Are you a AAA member? Because we're not..but WOO-HOO to the $150 onboard credit!
CONOR is cute too
I just booked my cruise thru AAA. I am a member. My agent told me there insurance was higher than DCL. DCL price is $59/Adult and he told me there insurance was $79/Adult. I to wish there was there was a better and cheaper insurance. He told me the other cruise lines offer insurance that lets you cancil for any reason, but with DCL it has to be medical related.

When I spoke with the AAA agent, and online with DCL..our insurance rate was $257 total. I would totally take $59 each. Could it be possible that they were quoting you the transportion transfer rate? That was $59 each.
you can compare all different kinds of travel insurance policies at www.insuremytrip.com. We used Travel Guard ~we saved quite a bit over DCL's insurance and we get better coverage. Did you know that unless you book you air fare through Disney, DCL's insurance will not cover you if your airline is delayed and you miss the cruise? That's the biggest reason we decided to get our own insurance.

We are AAA members, we booked the cruise through them along with our insurance. We only needed insurance for the cruise, no airfare. I don't know if that makes a difference. I wish I could remember the exact amount but I can't. It seemed really cheap to me though.
