Insurance Question for the Rental Car experts

Hi

I have booked a car direct with Alamo but want to check I have enough insurance cover so that we aren't landed with another bill when we collect it.

My confirmation says I have extended protection and collision damage waiver.

Does anybody know if this is what I need or will I be sold something else when I get there?

Have you booked on Alamo.co.uk or Alamo.com?
All UK car rental sites I know include all insurances, US sites possibly not, they aim their sales at US travellers who have their own insurance.

collision damage waiver and extended protection are all you need!!

do NOT let them sell you anything else at the airport- though they will try..

they're going to try to get you to buy "roadside assist" - Do NOT fall for it..

if you have collision damage waiver and extended protection that is all you need.

Don't let them try to railroad you into the roadside assist..

they try to do it to me every time - stay strong!!!!!!

If you are flying into MCO don't even give the clerk an opportunity to offer bolt ons. Just go straight to the Self-Service Kiosk. We find it's a far better experience.
