I'm taking my 15 and 17 year old nephew to WDW next June when school is out. (Dad wont let them miss school for Disney.... grrrr!!)LOL::rolleyes1
What would I bring in the way of a letter or insurance incase of injury or illness. We'll be flying from Portland Oregon so if anything happens we'll have to deal with it there. We're staying ASMU familiy suites!
Any ideas on what I should bring with us from their parents?
thanks

Hello. We are traveling with our DS and his DF, they are both 16. (what a treat).:rolleyes1 I have a permission letter to have him treated, and an insurance card, in case anything would happen.

We traveled, with DN and did the same for him. :goodvibes

My DD3 has a medical release form saying that her grandparents may get medical help for her if necessary. We dated it, all signed it and then had it notorized.

You will likely need a notorized letter signed by both parents to even get them on a plane.
You should also have that letter state they authorize medical treatment if necessary and you should have the insurance card. and of course you will need photo ID for them or at the least for the 17 year old but I would verify they both may need it.

You may be able to get a limited power of attorney for travel and medical care. A PoA should have all the bases covered and can be dated for a specific time period. HTH!
