Just wondering if anyone can recommend Insurance companies. Its for my mother, who will be 70 by the time we go, and she has some health problems - not life threatening though.

Thanks in advance.

Ours this time is through top dog insurance.

An annual family policy plus I think it was an extra £10 for a top up policy to cover my unusual breathing condition.

Have a shop around - price often depends on conditions you are trying to cover and can vary alot between companies eg some charge more if you are on blood pressure medication, others not.

Hi

We use a local brokers who have always been very helpful and competitively priced.

I recently got my father-in-law a quote through them. He has all sorted of medical problems, and insurance is usually a nightmere. But they were great and the cost wasn't a great deal more than our quote.

Don't know if I am allowed to advertise their name and number on the site????

If its OK, and you're interested, I will post or if you PM me I will happily reply with their details.

Thanks

Chris

Hi,

We always use Insure and Go. They Do an Over 65 policy as have bought it for my "in Laws" before.

The price wasnt too bad considering that both of them have a few medical conditions - Including Diabetes. They use a point system, so providing she doesnt have anything "serious" wrong it may not work out much more expensive than your own insurance.

Hubbies Asthma cover cost about £5.00 more.

Hope this helps.

we use Columbus direct, they accept medical conditions and older people.
They do online quotes too :thumbsup2
