I have a question about BAC. If using like, Listerine or something else with alcohol in it, would that add up as your BAC?

One of my question on the permit test was the legal BAC for anyone under the age of 21. It didn't make sense to me because 21 is the drinking age. It's almost like telling someone it's okay to drink under 21 as long as your BAC is under ) 0.02. But, they didn't specify so IDK what exactly they meant.

Here until you're 21, no one in the vehicle can have any BAC.
So that rules out designated drivers.

In my state it's 16 for a learners permit.

I say 18 for the USA. Because if you are able to serve for your country you should be able to drink.

Yesterday I found out the drinking age in Spain is 14 (in bars), 16 (buying), 18 (in clubs). I was like "Vacation, anyone?!".

lol yeah our Spanish Club is taking a trip there in April and one of my friends has already searched all the local pubs and is mapping out where she can drink lol. One of my friends who graduated last year got in trouble the first day when he was in France for drinking... and his dad's the principal hahaha.

Not enough where it should show up on a BAC test. There was a girl on my cruise who would go through two or three 24 packs a day, though. That's the only case where I would imagine it could affect it.

I 100% agree with Tom....if your able to fight for your country you should be able to drink...simple as that.

I personally cant stand the taste of beer or cheap wine...i like the fruity drinks.

0.02 is far less than 1 drink, so thats kindof making allowances for cold medication/anything else with alcohol.

its 0.05 for fully licenced drivers. thats pretty reasonably, i think.

it might show up in the breath test, but then they can do a blood test to make sure. listerine probably wouldn't show up in the blood test
