I'm reminded of Sally Field in "When Harry Met Sally" when she talks about her recurring dream: "There's a Man - He's faceless - he rips off my clothes then I wake up. I vary it sometimes - I vary what I wear..."

My recurring nightmare is that we have decided to move back to Seattle. I always wonder why? how did I get here? why did we decide to do that when we have a house and a job in Minnesota? I always wake up in a cold sweat.

I don't think Sally Field was in "When Harry Met Sally". Must have been Meg Ryan. That's a funny line! I don't remember the movie that well.
I used to dream about my teeth falling out. I'd sneeze and they's all come out or I'd bite into something and they'd all come out...etc.
Sometimes I dream about driving and I am out of control. It's like I am hitting things or just barely missing things but it doesn't really matter, like that's the way you're supposed to drive!

Some people seem to believe that IS the way you are supposed to drive.

I've never had a recurring dream.

I had dreams about my teeth falling out too. It was when I had braces and my teeth would get loose, and then there is my dreams where tornados were chasing me. I have'nt had it in a long time. Over a year or more but if I've had that dream once I have had it 2o times.

I have recurring dreams all the time. Some are verrrry nice.;) Some aren't.:(

Last night I dreamt I was working. I woke up exhausted.;)

I often have dreams about my contact lenses! I'll be about to put them in, and they multiply. I'll wind up with 5 or more of them.

Oh my gosh!!! I almost cried when I saw I inspired a post. Thank you! I never dreamed I would inspire a post. I want to thank all the people who stood by my side during my dream ordeals. You have all been so great. I'm going to share this very special honor with you all.

I have a nightmare that I've lost contact with one of my friends and that everytime I try to reach him at his phone #, I either keep dialing the wrong # against my will or I get a dry cleaner or some other kind of business like that.

You are right - it was Meg Ryan. :o :o :o It was 2:00 in the morning. Oh well...

I just looked up what mine means and it says that if you have nightmares of getting wrong #'s, being unable to dial the right #, etc for a specific person, you probably have trouble communicating with that person in real life which is somewhat true with this particular friend. It also makes a lot of sense.

I have recurring nightmares about someone coming into my house and trying to attack me. Always a male, different ways, different senarios. If someone knows what that means I would love to know. I have tried to change it but usually wake up before I can.

I have nightmares about tornados a lot of times. And sometimes I have dreams that I'm falling. I don't know where I'm falling from just that I'm falling.

I used to dream I was back in High school and it was either a round building that I kept walking in circles in (couldn't find class, didn't have books, pencils etc.) or was a maze type building that I couldn't get out of.

When I was little I dreamed of going to a huge toy store (like a ToysR Us) and being able to pick out any Barbie doll I wanted. I had never seen so many toys. I always LOVED that dream!
The school one I hate.

I have had a lot of dreams about my front teeth. I had them knocked out with a baseball bat when I was 8. That is about 30 years worth of those bad dreams now! :(

Many times I dream I work all night doing hair. I'm overbooked, etc. etc. I wake up exhausted and don't want to see those people very much! LOL
