What is the worst claim you have heard of made by someone against Disney? By worst, I mean the most ridiculous. I think someone posted on the Worst Trip Ever thread about a family that was upset with Disney because they got a sunburn.

I've heard so many, i can't even pinpoint them anymore. When i was a cm, it was a daily occurence, a guest thinking they were entitled to something or it was disney's fault that it rained or that a ride was under rehab.

we had a big problem where I worked (Hollywood and vine- cafeteria at the time) with guests purchasing a mug from us (like the resorts mugs, there was a 25th anniv one)- and then would come back a minute later and tell us they lost it- and of course we would give them another free. That happened just about everyday. Some probably did lose it- but i did catch one leaving the restaurant and laughing to their friend, both holding a mug, they obviously hadn't lost it. something small, but still wrong and inconsiderate.

I've read so many stupid complaints on this board alone over the years, I can't even think of which is the dumbest. ;)

This isn't that bad but.... I was at the Boarwalk Bakery and a customer tried to pay with her room key that was never activated for charging. She was really irritated with the cm and said to her"Well what am I supposed to do for breakfast".The cm calmly said "Come back when you have cash" as she took back the bag. It was great!!!!!!

The worst claim I have heard was not on the boards but, by my brother. It made me enraged :furious: that he blamed Disney for ruining our trip because the lines were too long and they should have a limit on the amount of people allowed in a line at a certain time. That is pretty lame.

We blamed the Tiki Gods for all the rain we had one year. Unfortunately, they did not do anything about it.

:guilty: :guilty: :guilty: :guilty: :guilty:

Not here or at WDW (since I haven't been yet) but at a Disney store. A shopper asked her friend "Why would anyone want to go to Disney? They have everything here."

I about died... :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao:

When are you going back? I'll be sure to take care of it for you... :teeth:

I think the most common one is people complaining about the lines and coming to the conclusion that Disney sucks. Uncoincidentally, these same people never do any research prior to the trip. They go at peak season, at peak times of the day, think FastPass costs money, etc, etc, etc.

A friend I work with complained about having to eat out the food she had to eat all week. I try to watch what I eat most days, but I swear the food is half the fun. It's so great not having to go to our averages TGI Fridays, (not that there is anythign wrong with that). DH and I leave Disney with a list of new places we want to try for our next trip.

Good idea! We always get constant rain when we go - now I know, it's the Tiki Gods that do it! :rotfl2:

It must have been the end of a long trip for one family that was actually complaining to other guests that a CM refused to refund them their money for ice cream because it melted too fast!!!!!!

everyone around them looked totally dumbfounded as they were almost chanting dont buy the ice cream if you expect a refund!!!......

Ummmmm Hellloooo!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

it was like 102 degrees? eat faster or choose popcorn!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'm pretty sure that someone here overheard a guest at GR recently trying to get their money back because the theme park was too hot that day!

I have a sign on my desk that would apply to some of these situations.... "Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part" I witnessed a situation on my last trip that I thought was totally unacceptable....I was checking in at the podium of LTT for the character dinner, which was during the afternoon parade and it was crawling with people inside and out, I could not help but overhear a man screaming at a Cm about them not being able to seat his family....he said and I quote, sort of "What the He** use is it to pay for a f*ing dining plan if there is never any f*ing availability at any of your restaurants, This was a giant f*ing waste of money!" I felt so bad for the Cm because all he could do was say I am sorry sir. Then, the same cm was the one who sat my family and I told him myself that I was sorry about how the guy had cussed and bereated him, we both agreed that if you are going to buy something, maybe you should do a little research on what it is you are buying and how it works. I am sure there are many many guests who come to WDW without knowing anything about how it all works, and then leave thinking they missed out on so much. It is funny just a bit!

I read in another thread a few weeks ago that some lady was complaining at the Beach Club that she paid for a water view and she couldn't see the ocean, just the lake!! Make you wonder how she graduated from high school! :rotfl2:

I heard older couples complaining there were too many children at the parks...! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

At our "end of school" lunch, we got to talking about WDW. The Asst Prin who was there was talking about last time she went there were all these people with little kids (babies) who'd never remember the trip. That just sent her head spinning. And she wasn't talking about the over-bearing, do-or-die crazies... she was talking about ANYONE with a little one.

I've never taken a baby, but I tried to explain why someone might...

If someone wants to take their two-week old baby or their 100 year old grandmother and all of their needs are met (grandmas's and baby's), more power to them.

I was in line to see Ariel and this man and his daughter were in front, and his cell rang and he told the person on the other end, just wait I'll get out of this line and talk to you... I had to bring (her name) to WDW and I'm waiting for a character... so he stepped out off line and left her there alone to go get her autograph and everything... poor baby, I felt so bad for her... and when it was our turn and finished with Ariel, the man was still on his cell and the little girl was just waiting by his side.... :sad2:

Not to be insensitive, but dang lawyers can make some pretty outlandish claims blaming Disney for all manner of things. Basically, Disney is a guarantor of your safety and enjoyment.

Disclaimer: I'm a lawyer, so I'm biased against lawyers.

I love people who complain about the crowds. Like they are the only ones entitled to be at DW. :rotfl2:

I think they should go somewhere else where no one in their right mind wants to go. Then they could be with their own kind. :lmao:
