I'm Catherine named after my grandmother Katherine. My mother changed the K to a C because she had this great idea that my older sister and I would be able to share initial jewelry She even gave me a middle name with the same initial. I can honestly tell you that my sister and I never shared jewelry or monogrammed sweaters or anything else

I was the 3rd child after 2 boys. My mom was convinced I was a boy so didn't have a girl name. After she had me she was all drugged up, lol, andm= my dad said "What should we name her?" My mom said "James" and when he told her I was a girl she said 'oh, ok then Jaime.' When she woke up later they decided on Karen Ann. Booooooooooooooooooooring. I wish they had named me Jaime because there are about 5 million 40 year old Karens around

I am named after two aunts...my aunt Nancy and my aunt Mary Ann...so I am Nancy Anne.

I have never liked Nancy. There is no one my age named Nancy (I'm 36). I always thought of Nancy Reagan. It did make me feel better when Nancy McKeon was on the Facts of Life, and Nancy Kerrigan was in the Olympics a few years back.

(though I still don't like Nancy...)
