I was searching for 80's prom dress and  one like my bridesmaids dress was on there. Mine had lace on the top but the rest was just like this

It is listed as...... VINTAGE :faint: I am NOT vintage!!!

So lets see YOUR prom dress or bridesmaid dress :)

Oh my :lmao: That dress looks so much like my bridesmaid dresses. My color was a wine color though.

Too funny:goodvibes

My Prom dress was classic Dynasty. BIG puffy sleeves..:sad2:

I wish I could find my bridesmaids dresses. They were gorgeous, even 13 years later I can say this :lmao:

Oh my! I actually wore that dress as a bridesmaid in that very color.

Which year you want to see? I actually have all my high school formal pics already in my photobucket from when my friend and I were reminiscing. They're all crappy scans though.

well congratulations, you may all join in my vintageness :lmao:

I had my "vintage" reality check when I realized that I was only 6-1/2 years away from being an AARP member.

That looks just like my bridesmaid dresses except they were royal blue.

Okay, I got married in '90 but I swear that's my bridesmaids' dress and it was that exact color.

I wore almost that same dress for my SIL's wedding to my DB. The skirt was covered with matching green lace and the back was so low cut I couldn't wear a bra. Right down to my butt. I threw it out right after the wedding, along with my matching green shoes.
She told me she chose that length so we could wear the dress again at a formal party. Like I would ever put that dress on again...

That's amazing. My sister and niece wore the same dress in a rose color. I let them pick what they wanted. The dress I liked was in a lilac color but it didn't suit them.

Same year and dress here too! Except it was in a light minty green. I want to publicly apologize to my bridesmaids for making you wear this dress.

Where's the butt bow?

Every 1980's dress had a butt bow. It was a rule.

LOL - you're so right! I was married in the 80's but my proms were in the 70's. For my junior prom I wore a Gunne Sax dress like this

When my senior prom rolled around I wore a polyester disco dress! :scared1:

well I figure the butt bow was a given. I was married in 94 so this style lasted for awhile.

OK, I actually still have two of the prom dresses I wore. Here's the one that screams "true 80's" style...

Yes, that's a purple dress with white lace, and yes I wore a crinoline under that big poufy skirt. :scared:
