Inspired by the 'nearest publix' thread... Which US supermarket do you prefer?

Publix for groceries and Super Target for everything else

got to agree with this Public rottisserrie chicken rules as does it's deli sandwiches!!!

Goodings and Publix just as Johnny said but you definitely (sp) need a car to get it all back to your accomodation

This is fascinating question with some interesting answers! I tend to use Publix for most because OK selection and reasonable prices. I go to Goddings sometimes because the quality there is better but it is pricy.

Can someone tell me where a supertarget is near WDW (and what it is ) ?

Hi Mikki,

The nearest one is (I think) the one on the 192. Come out of WDW heading East on the 192 and it is a few miles down the road on the left - a couple of miles before Walmart & Medieval Times are on the right (if you see what I mean).

There is another one just off the 417 at somewhere round or at the junction with John Young Parkway (from memory, it may not be the actual junction)

We really like Goodings (Crossroads) - not cheap but classy and a very nice display of fresh fruit !!

Thanks! Have only ever seen one (I think it was target) somewhere past the Florida Mall but didn't know they did food at all!
