Is it important to you to be among the very first people to get off the plane?

And if so, why?

Only if I have an insane connection to make; otherwise, I normally just sit back and wait for everyone else to get off.

Only when I'm at MCO and impatient to get off and find the Magical Express. All the other people just need to get out of my way!

But, seriously, a lot of times yes. I’m just too impatient to wait for people to gather their stuff and slooooowly make their way towards the exit. I want off and to be on my way.

I think everyone around us feels it is important as well!

This is me too.. I fly non-stop to Orlando (so there's no connection worries) and I've never quite been able to figure out the "stampede" to get off the airplane..

Hopefully someone can tell me where they're rushing off to - just in case I'm missing something.. LOL

Nope. I take my time and don't care if we're the last ones off the plane. Even when my daughter was a baby, we would just sit and relax while everyone else bumped into each other and got aggravated. Then, we just walk off the plane with no crowds around us.

No. I know the baggage isn't gonna make it to the carousel until 20 minutes after we land, so I just take my time. No reason to get my panties in a wad.

No, unless like some other poster says I've got a connection I'm seriously going to miss. Really, I don't much care where I sit in the plane either. I flew a lot as a kid and just got used to pretty much everything.

Yes. I'm claustrophobic on a plane and I hate flying. I need to get off as soon as we land or I get strange.

Not for me but DH hates to fly so is usually pushing me to get off the plane as quickly as possible

I'll get up and leave when there is space to do it without getting popped in the head by all the overhead luggage that people are wrestling with to get out of the compartments. Like someone else said the bags aren't going to be ready yet anyhow so why rush.
