It's an interesting word. What exactly does "hey" mean to you?

For me it ususally means ..whats up or tell me...


For PD I take it as Hi or hey I am sorry...whatever the thread is about, I just make PD's hey whatever I want it to say

When I say "hey", it's usually to my SO, and what I mean is is "hey there, sexy"... It's all in the way you say it!

I love Pop Daddy's use of the word hey. Its sweet. Its the short post version of "I'm thinking of you".

For me it means hi.

For me it is usually yelled in a shrill voice to my kids who are throwing furniture, or bringing crayfish into the living room, or standing on the kitchen counter, or filling the hot tub with dish soap to see how how high the bubbles will stand, or seeing if they can climb the door frames and touch the ceiling, or fishing in our gold fish pond or.............

"Hey" means, "What's up?" It could mean, "Hey, what are you doing?" So I guess it means a couple of different things to me.

Anybody remember the kid's book, "Flat Stanley"? The <b>dad</b> always said, "Hay is for horses, not for people." When people said "hey". Obviously the <b>pop</b> dad <b>dy</b> thinks otherwise.

I take Pop Daddy's "hey" to mean, "Yo, whas up?" or "Yo, I'm here."

When I say hey, I say it mean, "Heyyyyyyyyyy!" like, "What the heck did you do that for?!" Or, "Hey?" like "Did you see that?"

I've found that Pop Daddy has a language all his own. I believe that to him, "hey" means: "Ladies of The Dis, I am here to fill your lives with joy and mirth and sexiness and short posts. Come and get your Vitamin Pop Daddy." He is a man of few words and yet he says so much........I think he's a sweetie, too. A sexy sweetie!

To me, "hey" means "hi, how ya doin'?"

Well, if I see someone and say, "hey", it means, "Hi, how are ya??"

I've been known to yell quite a few "HEY!"s in my lifetime....

I would also like to say that whenever someone posts a request and is feeling down or asks for PD and prayers, Jason is usually one of the first to reply. His simple, "hey" speaks volumes to me. Those little heys are full of compassion and empathy and always bring a smile to my face and comfort to my soul - I can only imagine how it warms the heart of the OP.
