Inspired by pnelson - WDW and Yelling at Kids

We have all seen it happen, many of us have been guilty of it ourselves, so I wonder......What would you do if you had a chance to make a nice gesture that could difuse the situation? I read on a thread a few days ago about a man who was being Mr. Crabby or maybe Mr. Grumpy, and his wife bought a helium baloon and told him to give it to someone else since he was in such a snit. WHen he finally found his givee, his whole day was brightened.

So, how would you try to brighten someones otherwise rotten day at the world?

I almost always carry small toys with me to hand out. I'd start handing them out.
