Ok, let's hear the experiences, just for comparisons sake.

My h was in the doctor's office 10 minutes, with a few days recovery period.

We were there for close to an hour I would say. My Dh recovery was 3 days to be "OK" and then another month to really feel better. But like I posted in the other thread, this was all due more to the drs vise grip and he still hurts from that, and he had it done at the start of Oct in 2002.

DH was with the Dr about 30 minutes (apparenty cracking bad jokes the whole time too!!), then home for several days wearing frozen peas! He had the procedure on a Wed and went back to work on light duty (military) on Tues. He was able fly again about 2 1/2 weeks after the vasectomy. After that first mission, he said he wished he had waited another couple of days before flying, but by 30 days after the procedure he was fine.

Wow....what a thread to have inspired;) !

DH was in the office less than an hour, home taking it easy all weekend, back to work on Mon, and coaching soccer later that week. He was sore though, and moved pretty slow for another week.
