I have been asking people in work lately " how do you know you are in love" I get the same answer all the time, they say you just know it. Well I was never in love with my ex, I just wanted to get married like everyone else, stupid move but I did it. Now that I am 47 and looking for a partner, companion, best friend that way possibly turn into love I'll ask you all, " How do you know you are in love? Thanks for your help, thisis a question I can't seem to figure out

I know that love comes in different forms.....there is the one that makes you breathe heavy...but that could be mistaken for lust......there is the love that comes from just enjoying being with him ..even if it is out in the woods hunting with him.......or shoveling the white stuff from the yard.....Just being with him is what my love means........I enjoy him ........he asked me 15 or so years ago if I wanted to go back to hunting with him.......I said sure why not.......and I was the only wife that ever went with their spouse.....now our granddaughter goes with us too.....You will know that you are in love if you want to be with that person even when you are shoveling manure......."boy am I ever polite" if that is where you are happiest ....then you know ....I MUST BE IN LOVE

You don't get to choose, you just fall in love, and you get this person who is all wrong and all right at the same time and you know that you love them so much except sometimes they just drive you completely insane and no one can explain it and the reason its so confusing is because its love.

Love is something you can't really explain, it is just a feeling that you get IMHO. It's different than anything I have ever known. With my DH, I just KNEW.

Wow there are so many answers to this question. John tells me all the time that I make his heart go thump thump......I think thats one way I know. I look at him and he just makes me happy. No matter how mad I get at him, he can still make me laugh and smile. I want to spend every minute I can with him and I never get tired of being with him. Honestly I don't think there IS a Beth without John, hes the other half that makes me whole. Without him I wouldn't be the person I am.

Oh and I just can't sleep without him either....LOL!

Just keep those rose colored glasses on and you'll never know the difference! As you can see, I'm not the one to ask. My aunt was upset with me once not too long ago and the only thing she had to say that I even remember was that I'm just too young to be jaded.

My mom always said you would "just know" and I always thought that was silly...until I met DH Then, yep...I JUST KNEW!! It was so different that anything I'd felt for any other guy I'd dated. It was a feeling that I could be comfortable and be myself. It was so much more than, Wow, he's so cute (although he is ) It's something you can't really explain, I just knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him
