Inspired by Mishetta: Do you make *your* bed?

I make up 3 beds because I make DD and DS beds too. It's one of the first things I do each day. I can't leave the house without making the beds, washing any dishes in the sink, tidying up, etc..

This is a habit I forced myself to acquire a few years ago. Nothing else may get done but I make the bed.

Sure do. It is just force of habit. It is usually one of the first things I do.

I usually make it every morning when I get up....Usually being the key word. Our of a 7 day week I would say it gets made up 5 times.

Every single morning for two reasons:
1. I can't stand to get into an unmade bed and
2. An unmade bed calls me all day to come back, get under the covers and take a snooze!!!

I work nights, so by the time I get up, DH will be in the bed in a few hours.

I do when I come home from work. If I tried to do it in the morning before I left for work, I might lay back down and straighten up the covers and go back to sleep.

Ok, I am an idiot....I voted for the wrong thing because I didn't read properly. I make my bed every day....unless we have an early morning appointment and have to rush out of the house. So on your poll results you need to subtract one from the first response and add it to the second.

Our bed gets made everyday. We just recently purchased a beautiful four poster, teak bed (of course I had to buy a new spread too ).

So DH and I made a deal. Whoever is the last one out of it in the morning, makes it. It's usually DH

Yes, made every day! Part of the day, and it does make me feel very organized as well...


DD gets made quite a bit as well. DS's is a loft bed, so its high up, so I don't see it.... Occasionally that gets made, but its hard to do correctly, so I'm happy if everything is not hanging off the side.
