Inspired by ME.....Does anyone else like Dave Barry?

I just posted my Turkey Humor post which came from my Dave Barry desk calendar and I was wondering if there were others here on the boards that find him as funny to read as I do.

I try to get online to read his columns every now and then and I also buy his books. I don't think his style of humor is for everyone but for some reason it cracks me up.

Am I the only one?

I find him funny, too, becka! My first exposure to him was "training" voice recognition software. The program used his piece on computers. I had to keep starting over, because I'd laugh out loud as I read it & mess up the "training!"

Yes, but I hardly ever read his stuff. I do have a few of his books, and really enjoy his column when I see it.

I miss Lewis Grizzard though.

Dave Barry is hysterical !!!! I love the article he did about coffee beans that sell for $100/pound. The beans were eaten by weasels and then extracted from their, well-you-know. The coffee was called Decaf Poop-a-chino.

The man is a sick puppy. That's why I love him so much. Carl Hiassen too....he's another sicko that I love.

He's the best. If you want to read a funny book, check out his "Bad Song Lyrics" book. Had me in tears.

He is very funny and I really enjoyed the series, "Dave's World," before it was canceled. It was just too clean and family friendly to be able to stay on.

I absolutely LOVE Dave Barry. I don't always read his regular column since I don't take the paper right now, but I always enjoy it when I read it. I have several of his books.
