I do. :teeth:

I enjoy choosing my meats and produce. I like seeing what new products are on the shelves. I LOVE to get a bargain. Double couponing gets me giddy. :hyper:

It seems like a bunch of you said you hated grocery shopping on the other thread.

But someone out there must love it like me, no?

I don't do cartwheels of joy when it's time to go grocery shopping, but it's certainly a chore I don't mind.

but I'm a shopaholic...so that could be why

and he gets over joyed when the meats are on special....he calls it winning the lottery.......I like to find different things to make and look at new items in the stores

I do love it. I hate it when dh comes w/ me & wants to just get what's on the list & get out. I like to go down every aisle & look around.

Actually, I've liked it since I was a kid. My mother would take me with when grocery shopping because I didn't mind. Worked out well for me since I could toss in a few extra goodies or have a lot of input into what was for dinner.

I actually do like to go gorcery shopping and its a good thing since I make many trips to the grocery store.

I do! I do! DH too!

We make a nice trip out of it. We'll do it on a Sunday. Gather up the kids and go to 3 different supermarkets. Two of those places have those kid's area where you can leave the kids in there and they have toys and video games, etc. The kids love it and for them going grocery shopping is a treat.

It also helps that one of the supermarkets have a free cookies for the kids with a purchase of a cookie card ($1.00 for one year).

All three supermarkets also have those car carts (the carts that look like little tykes cars). The kids also love getting the samples that the markets have.

Yeah... we love grocery shopping.:)

I like grocery shopping. That way, I get to pick out what we eat and what we have around the house. I don't like dealing with the long lines and some rude employees, but overall I love going grocery shopping.

I do, but only when I can go to the nice supermarket that is fartehr away from my house. The one that is near me, that I run into for necessities is kind of....eh...it's not a very pleasant place to be... :confused3

I like any kind of shopping but I agree with E that a nice store definately makes the trip even more enjoyable.

I love it!!!! I love to cook!!! I love to walk around the stores and get ideas of what to cook/bake.

I don't like it at all. DH is spending all his free time working on our house. We don't have a lot of people we can leave the kids with. So either I shop with the kids (horrors!) or shop on my lunch hour at work. Sometimes I leave work a little early so I can bring the groceries straight home instead of lugging them in to the fridge at work.

I feel so rushed. I used to love looking at all the new stuff. Now I have so little time and so few creative ideas for dinner, that I think I should just deposit cash and receive bags full of the same items I bought last week.

I hope I enjoy cooking more when we move back into our house.

One of our supermarkets has the kid care program. I should try it out sometime.

Anyone want to do my shoping too?

Denae

I love grocery shopping, too! Now if only I liked cooking nearly as much, I might use all of the things I buy (with such good intentions!)

I used to love it. Now I have two kids. I just took them this morning and I will not be bringing them back for awhile. Before we had kids, there was a nice, small grocery store by our house that I loved going to. The people were so nice, it was quiet and they played classical music. It was so relaxing to shop there after a hectic day of working (I used to work in child care). I will probably start enjoying it again if I can go by myself.

I actually like grocery shopping. I love BOGO sales, and love my double (and sometimes triple) coupons. :bounce:

I like it best when I can go alone. :teeth: I hate when DH comes along, because I always end up with way more than I went in for.

I love grocery shopping!! I was a devoted Dominick's shopper until we moved and the Dominick's store near our new home turned out to be junky. I am a person who needs to shop in a nice store. I switched to Jewel and thought I'd hate it, thought it would be more expensive, but I really like it. They have lots of BOGO sales and dollar sales too. The only thing is they don't take expired coupons like Dominick's does, but I'll live. I think going grocery shopping every week satisfies my need to shop. It would be better if I were buying clothes and shoes, but I can be happy buying food for my family too.

I enjoy grocery shopping!
You get the satisfaction of shopping with no guilt because after all, I HAVE to grocery shop.
I just like to spend money.

Hate it beyond all good reason, myself.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Just hate the paying part ;)

My fave is the produce aisles... all those bright and beautiful fruits and veggies are fun to browse ;) The seafood counter intrigues me, too.

Oh yes- our store has a sushi counter and I love watching them make it and they give me samples =)

DH enjoys going, too, but when he goes things get too expensive, so I usually leave him at home.

I enjoy grocery shopping, so does DH! :)

We have fun buying groceries. Checking out new products, handling the produce, eyeing the biggest cuts of meat in the deli counter! The fuller our buggy is, the better we feel..lol.

Food is a BIG DEAL around here. ::yes::

Having said that, I've no idea what I'm making for dinner! :teeth:
