Inspired by Grocery Shopping Thread...Does your Store Double coupons?

When I use to live in Cape May NJ, the local Shop Rite and Acme always doubled coupons. I never even reliezed it was something that was done. Well when I moved to FL...I felt the difference. They dont double here...

So does your local store double all the time? Or once in a while?

Yep! I live in Pittsburgh and most of the main grocery stores double up to .99 - Giant Eagle, Foodland & Shop N Save. I used to be able to get great deals matching up coupons and the weekly circular, but not so much anymore. I find myself shopping at Super Wal-mart most of the time.

Yep, they do. Every once in a while they will triple them for 1 week!!

Here in indiana they dur store kroger has had it for the last month but it ends Saturday. I git all my cupons ready to go. They also do triple quite often. I've only lived here since Sept and its happened a few times.

Yes, giant does as long as you're a 'shoppers club member', and sometimes in their weekly ad they'll even put in coupons to triple your coupon.

I go to Shop Rite and they double up to 99 cents. They even occasionally triple up to 75 cents. It's not unusual for me to get an item free if it's on sale and I have a coupon. The store won't actually give money back if the coupons are more than the price but free is good enough for me. They did the triple coupons a few weeks ago and I stocked up on every non-perishible item we had coupons for .

Shoprite around here does double and sometimes triple. I've been known to hang onto coupons and wait till the item goes on sale and then give them the double coupon.

Yes they always double, some do true double and some only double up to $1.00.. but occasionally they triple as well.

Marsh and Kroger have been triple couponing for several weeks, but I think they are stopping this week. About 20 years ago I was really a big coupon person, but I really don't bother with them much anymore. I just don't have the time I did then.

Giant Eagle and Tops double up to 99c, Acme doesn't but their sale prices are usually good enough to compete with the double coupons.

Kroger and Tom Thumb double coupons up to 50 cents here, and triple them below $ .39 (sounds like that may change soon?). I just knocked my bill down from $182 to $109 today at Kroger by using their card and some coupons.

The only store (that I know of) that doubles coupons is Harris Teeter. They will double up to 99 cents. They tend to be higher in price then the other stores. So, I usually wait until I have a bunch of coupons before I go for a shopping trip.

Our Publix just started doubling coupons up to 50 cents. They will do it anytime, which is nice. I'm not sure if Kroger doubles all the time or just sometimes. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure if they do at all now that they have the Kroger Plus cards.

always at the shoprite double coupons up to $.99 everyday and triple up to $.99 sometimes (unlimited - 4 of each kind of coupon)
other store double up to $1.00 total $.50 coupon doubles to $1.00 and $.75 coupon doubles to $1.00

Yes, my supermarket always doubles coupons up to 99cents. Sometimes there are coupons in the paper to triple them, but not too often.
