As in people I got a -0- not one person I voted for won...LOL! Now I did vote NO on letting judges serve 6 years instead of 4 and it did not pass...so I did do good on that one. But that was it!

only discuss politcts if everyone on the thread is naked, you become less sure of youself

WElllllllllllllllllllll, I voted a straight DEMOCRATIC ticket..........need I say more????

On the other hand, 2 of the propositions which I voted for passed:jester: :jester: :jester: .....

the person i voted for for governor lost. :(

and the first time i voted to send a republican to washington, and she lost too! maybe it was a sign. :p  :teeth:

everyone els ei voted for won though. :)

Caity, I voted for a democrat for the first time and he lost too! I am just so sick of Lamar Alexander.
No one I voted for won. They passed to get a lottery and I voted against that too. Oh well...

Only one person I voted for lost, and he was a Democrat who I crossed party lines to vote for because I fely he was the better candidate. Otherwise, I went straight Republican on this one.

Only had 3 people to vote for - and I think that they all won.
I am an Independant - and that is how I voted. 2 Democrats and 1 Republican.

:)

The majority that I voted for won, but win or lose, we're all winners in a free society where we get to elect our leaders.

(Cue American Flag and Patriotic Music)

Of course, they are probably all scoundrals and thieves, but by gosh WE get to put them there!!!

No, seriously, I am proud....

If I vote for them or even think about voting for them the lose.:(

Our local elections had a fair amount of canadates for various offices so I voted for lots of folks. On the national level, both the fellows I voted for won. On the local level I didn't do too bad. The county judge executive I voted for didn't win but other than that I think everyone I voted for won. I voted more democrat than republican this time but that's 'cause I tend to vote democrat for local elections and republican for the national ones.

Hey, on local elections have any of you guys voted for people for non-political reasons? I found that I voted for our PVA because he's reduced our taxes on occasion (they definately should have been reduced, right decision), and I voted for our County clerk because she was always nice to my dh when he was a bag boy in high school--24 years ago and before I ever knew dh, lol.

Congressman, Senator, State Senator, 2 referendum questions, although one was non-binding.............

I voted straight Democratic ticket, and the only one who won was the Secretary of State postion!

I voted straight Democratic ticket and the govenor I voted for won!!:D

I think three of the 4 Proposals I voted for or against won, too.

I was one for two. I voted for the Republican incumbent in the House and he won.

In the Senate race, I voted for the Libertarian candidate. John Warner had no opposition from the Democrats and I figured he would win with at least 75% of the vote (he won with 84%). As a small l libertarian, I like having the option of the Libertarian Party on the ballot, so I wanted to make sure the Libertarians kept ballot access.

Yes, the person I voted for governor of PA WON!!! !

As for the state representative, I have to find out if the person won. Its a small election, so I still don't know who won that.

(Doesn't make TV coverage, and the "weekly" paper isn't out yet)

I am very happy about this.. all the people I voted for got in... and the referendum questions, I got 2 out of 3.. this was in MA..

All of the people I voted for won. :)

It was funny because they thought some of the races were going to be really tight & a lot of them weren't even close.

George W. Bush does not inspire me, only makes me sick.

Being in San Francisco, California and a proud liberal on most things, yes all the Demos that I voted for won. Most Republican candidates lost big time here in California. :bounce:
