We don't. The gifts for Santa aren't wrapped. But the stuff from Mom and Dad are. Just wondering what everyone else does.

We're the same here. I wrap everything but what Santa brings. Sometimes I even wrap their stocking sutffers, depending on what it is. Their so fast at unwrapping I do whatever I can to slow them down!! ;)

Same here, we leave some toys unwrapped. But I do wrap the stocking, those are the most fun to open:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Everything here gets wrapped....from Santa or Mom & Dad....all of it gets wrapped.

Everything but the stocking stuffers get wrapped.

We wrap everything here, unless I'm at a store that does free gift wrap!

May I ask why you don't wrap the ones from Santa? :)

I wish Santa would have know 8 years ago that wrapping was not required.....it would have saved lots of time. Mom, Dad and Santa all wrap in our house.

They are all wrapped at this house. Santa needs help you know. I'm an honorary elf. Most parents are. ;) ;)

we wrap everything, but when i was growing up, the "santa" presents weren't wrapped. :)

We wrap everything, except for big, odd shaped things, or special things. Example: giantic stuffed animals didn't get wrapped, bicycles didn't get wrapped, doll houses didn't get wrapped etc. :D :D

We wrap everything here except stocking stuffers. I wish I would have known years ago that Santa didn't wrap--my life would be a lot easier!!

Out of curiousity, if Santa doesn't wrap, and you have more than one kid, how does each child know which presents are his/hers? I could just see a fight break out in my house if there is something popular under the tree and more than one person would like it!!!

We wrap everything even stocking things... usually those are CD's or games or something like that.

Our biggest one just realized there isn't santa, so we will just write from Mom and Dad now on the tags.

We went through the discussion that if you don't believe in Santa , its still ok, because you will still get gifts...

Santa always (still does :)) puts his unwrapped gifts on two seperate love seats, one deemd to be Natalie's and the other Vince's, on Christmas Eve. Wrapped presents, (not from Santa) start to be placed under the tree shortly after it goes up, soon after Thanksgiving. Stocking stuffers are put in all the stockings, I guess from Santa, also on Christmas Eve.

All of our presents get wrapped - even stocking stuffers.

I LOVE wrapping presents!!! I can't wait to start mine :)

As a kid everything except for stocking stuffers were wrapped, including presents from Santa. Lately even stocking stuffers get wrapped... it's more fun and makes the excitement last longer.

:)

Gifts from me are usually cash or gift certificates, so there’s no need to wrap them. I usually just buy some of those ‘money holder’ Christmas cards. Most of the other gifts exchanged in my family are wrapped, unless it’s something huge – last year my mother gave me an electric blanket and just put a big bow on it. Gift bags are really popular with my family. We tend to reuse them from year to year. I really do love wrapping presents, though. I often help my mother with hers.

Just remembering… When I was about 16 (and had just started working), I was so excited to be able to buy gifts with my own money. I had everything wrapped, complete with bows, very early and stored the packages in a large shopping bag with handles. By the time Xmas came, the bows were all smooshed…. On at least one occasion, my mom started wrapping gifts early, but hadn’t labeled all the packages. So on Xmas eve, we started carefully opening them to see what was inside. Sometimes, even once we knew what it was, she couldn’t remember who she bought it for…. When one of my nephews was 2 or 3 years old, his mother (my sister) gave him most of his gifts before Xmas. She wound up wrapping the empty boxes and put them under the tree.

If I can find enough places to hide the Santa presents then I don't wrap, if I need to keep them out in the open...I wrap.

My kids are 11 and 23 so it makes things a little easier. When they were little the Santa presents were well-hidden (sometimes offsite) and presented unwrapped.

To answer Jeafl's question...piles! Growing up we had 7 children with unwrapped Santa presents. We each had a designated section, and no blood was shed.
