Inspired by CB: do you believe in ghosts?

I do believe in ghosts, I do believe in ghosts, I do believe in ghosts, I do I do I do I do. (In my best Cowardly Lion voice)

Erm....I'm not sure.

I havent had any weird accounts of ghosts. So its hard for me to say.

I was on the fence.
Then I discovered Ghost Hunters. Now I'm leaning towards that they're real.
I haven't had any experiences.
To be honest, I don't think I want to.

kind of. but i am paranoid. once me and a couple other girls were over at my friends house. we were in her room ( back of the house) listening to music, gossiping, magazines-the usual. then her mom came back and told us that my friends dad had a busniess partner over for dinner had had to get some more chicken for dinner. my friend had me and the four other girls sleeping over. so twenty minutes later we got bored and were going to call her mom and walk to the beach. her mom just pulled in the driveway when the tv turned on. we were across the room from the tv and the romote was on top of it. so we freaked and ran outside just as her mom pulled up. then we helped her unpack the car and as we walked inside we heard something fall. one of the china dishes fell of the table, and that was hard to do. we thought it was the cat, but it was asleep on the couch.

An even better show than Ghost Hunters is Paranormal State, IMO. That one really, really, really convinces me.
(check youtube for episodes if you've never seen it)

I think spirits are real.
My Uncle has had quite alot of experiences.
I guess it doesn't help that he lives in a house built in the 1800's though. lol
I have had some experiences too, or so my mom says.
She told me that one time while I was sleeping I kept on repeating the name Lou over and over again. I was like 7 or 8 years old. And then my mom was talking with my neighbor, and my neighbor said that a guy named Lou died in my house...on the toliet. lol

i'm torn. i know enough about psychology to write off hallucinations and mob logic and power of suggestion. but i dunno. its a romantic idea.

HM ghosts, of course.

My friend's basement is haunted, as is her room (both rooms are beyond freezing). I do believe her.

My house was haunted when my parents first moved in. They don't believe the ghosts are still here, but I do. I've seen her (I'm pretty sure it's a her) out of the corner of my eye. Weird things happen in this house often.

i belive in Ghosts
my old house was haunted. things would move and break at random times of the night...never the day

i love believeing in ghosts its so much fun. i find it fasinating that there may be life after death

Ironic timing.

This is one of my many ghost stories.
So. There's a bathroom on the third floor of my school. One day I went in alone- no one was there. When I was washing my hands, I glanced in the mirror and saw feet sticking out from underneath the stall behind me. I turned around, surprised, but no one was there.
I shrugged it off, because I have a fairly active imagination. I was just like, eh. Trick of they eye.

So then I was joking about it with my friends (I just thought it was funny. Like, "Hey, guys, I think I've got a good idea for a Babysitters Club book. Mickey and the Ghost in the Girls Bathroom.)
But when I was joking about it, my friend Lauren started freaking out. She was like "WHICH BATHROOM. WHICH STALL?!"
And I told her, and she fell silent and then said, "The exact same thing happened to me yesterday morning. In the same stall, too."

I was a little creeped, but still questioning it. Then, a week later, another friend told me that her teacher was discussing how teachers hated going to the third floor at night, because everyone believed the library was haunted.
And the bathroom is right next to the library.

Then another friend texted me all freaked out last night.
Because a girl who had never heard the story (I don't even talk to her) had mentioned in passing that she thought she saw someone behind her in the third floor bathroom when she was sure she was alone.
So. Yeah. It's a little creepy.

The scariest thing that's happened to me was once when I was in fifth grade, home alone, I was walking down to the basement when I distinctly heard two men laughing down there.
I'd bet my life on it.
I started hysterically crying, called my mom, and sat in the backyard until a friend picked me up.

I also have really disturbing Oujia board stories I'd rather not go into.
I've had many paranormal experiences.

Bottom line, I think some people are psychicly or spirtually sensitive.
My grandfather had many paranormal experiences and stories, too. Maybe it's genetic? I'm not sure.
But yes. I believe.

When I was around 6 or 7 I was sound asleep in my room. I was facing the wall when I was sleeping. Then I just woke up for no reason and I wasn't groggy or anything. You know how when you first wake up you're usually all groggy and slow? When I woke up I felt very alert and just uneasy for some reason. Then I noticed a very faint glow in my room, it wasn't like a shining coming off of my wall but just the darkness wasn't its usual dark. So I rolled over and standing close to my bed was this figure thing. It had the shape of a man and I can't really remember everything exactly but the place where his eyes were glowed a little bit. I was so incredibly scared that I felt paralyzed. I just kept staring and he turned and walked into the wall that separated my room from my sisters. So I kind of hid under the covers crying for what seemed like forever then peeked out and ran to my parents room and bawled. It was a very scary experience.

My nana used to tell me and her granddaughters that when she was little that faeries would visit her and play with her at night and they always said not to tell anyone about them or they couldn't come back. She eventually told her mom about them and the faeries never came back.

My aunt told me that when she was a teenager that aliens would come into her bedroom at night and wake her up. She said they would tickle her feet. She said they had very big eyes and glided across the room instead of walking.

My other aunt tells everyone this story. When she was in her 20's she was at a party with her boyfriend when they got in a little fight and she decided to go home to bed. It was past midnight she said. Well she was sleeping and she just woke up for no reason, like I did, and at the foot of her bed were two men and one standing next to her. She said they looked like they were observing her. Well of course she screamed and ran downstairs and as soon as her hand touched the doorknob she felt totally relaxed. She explained the feeling real well but it was like she still knew what just happened but she just felt fine and relaxed and calm. I forgot the rest but I think she went back to bed. She believes they were aliens, not ghosts.

So, the answer to the original question is yes, I believe in ghosts.

i'm a huge paranormal freak watch ghost hunters every wednesday and i totally believe some minor expierences or what me and my friends think are expirences. i have played with the quiji board but only once and i will never again, but for a story after my neighbors dad died they went though his desk in the house and every day there would be something else on top like his police badge or something else special to him and these things happened alot when he first passed but they have slowed down. I also believe in ghosts not being able to cross over, but thats probably too much ghost whisperer

most ghosts dont scare me but the ghosts called poltergists (yes i know my haunted words, that comes from research ghost hunters and movies) they scare me because those are the ones that supposedly possess you in your teenage years that scares me only ghosts that can hurt me scare me gezz i need to stop watching horror movies lol but it is fun believing in ghosts

I do. I believe that the spirit world is divided into 2 groups- the angels in God's kingdom and the demons in belong in Satan's kingdom. God gave a strong message in the Bible about the spirit world. "Let no one be found among you that practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead." (Deuteronomy 18:10-11)

God/Jesus/Holy Spirit is a spirit, and I dont need a medium to talk to him. I can talk to him just like I would a friend. The spirits is a Ouija board or fortune teller or tarot card place is from Satan's side, and for me to consult them who be turning from God and following the kingdom he hates.

And I do believe in life after death. Heaven or Hell. If you chose God in this life, you'll go to Heaven. If not, you'll go to Hell. Simple as that.

I know that most of you aren't Christians, so most of you will probably disagree. But this is just my (and God's) opinion.

i do belive in the paranormal but many of my friends dont but it won't change my opinion!

I don't think I've ever had any experiances but my family has had several. From hearing laughter and breathing in your ear to seeing something and have chairs fall.
