So who likes them?
When I was growing up my mom used to order them yearly from the school band fundraiser--Texas Fruitcakes. I think everyone in our household liked them and we savored them. Now I order them from http://www.monasteryfruitcake.org/productsfruitcakes.asp I don't think my kids like them, but I try not to encourage them to eat it, anyway. My DH likes it, but not as much as I do.
I can't eat the cheap grocery store ones--they taste bad to me (too cakey and not enough pecans), but I love the expensive ones.
Anyone else like them?

I need to order mine--maybe I should order 2 this year in case my kids decide they like it afterall.
And we all know that eating anything over the kitchen sink doesn't have any calories, right?
