I just love it being in a crowd and being able to see over most everyone else's heads.

Or walking through a cube farm and seeing the tops of people's heads bobbing up and down everywhere.



The doc thinks that DD#1 will be 6'2". WNBA, here she comes!

I am average height, 5'6". Everyone always talks about short and tall, never average. We get no respect!

I am 5'10. I hated it growing up...eliminated the possibility of dating lots of cute short boys...but now I am happily married to a man who is 6'1 and I absolutely love being tall.

At 5'8" I'm only sorta tall. Dh is 6'4" tho and dd, at 10 1/2, is already 5'1"!!! Sure looks like she'll be a 'long drink of water'. Now, if only she would stop slouching!!! Man, I sound just like my mother!!! It's great to have dh in a crowd...we just look for his head!!

Well, I'm 5'7". Not really considered tall by some standards, but everywhere I go, most women are shorter than me so they call me TALL. I have always loved it. The only problem I have is that I fall somewhere between average and tall and that is a problem when I buy pants. They are either just one inch too short (if I buy a regular inseam) or if I buy a long inseam they are just too long.

6'1" here and happy for it! I've never had a wish to be shorter, although I wouldn't mind smaller feet! My boyfriend is 5'9". He agrees with Pop Daddy.

5'9" here & loving it!

DH is the same height. I'm the shortest in my family & he's the tallest in his. Should be interesting to see how tall our boys end up being.

I like being taller than my hubby! (ok, its only a half inch but thats true!)

I like being able to reach the high cabinet, and being able to put up visual aids in school easily, and being able to do other things.

I'm not really tall, but I like being able to be taller than most women.

I am 6'1" and never hated being tall. People remember me just because of that. In college people would come up to me and remember me as "that tall chick". I never felt that I wasn't noticed and always have the advantage at concerts LOL Plus being tall I can hide a few pounds better than the average heighted person.

The only thing I hate is not being able to find jeans that are long enough and sometimes tall isn't long enough. Thank God for GAP they make extra long
I never allowed it to affect my dating either. Although I love tall guys I would never height discriminate LOL. Dh is a short 5'11' LOL

I'm 6'1" (and three quarters) and I don't like it. I'd prefer to be under 6 foot. I'm also fat, so clothes shopping is impossible.

How many people come up to tall people and state "wow, you're tall." Well, duh!

One upside to being short is my SO loves to go through cave tours. He has to duck going through the caves or he'll knock his noggin' a bit. I don't have to duck at all.

I'm 5'10, and a little miffed that I didn't make it to 6 feet even. So I make up for it by wearing heels!

I love being able to reach things on the top shelf, being able to wear long, flowy things, and being able to cover lots of ground with long strides!

On the down side (as KarenNY graciously pointed out to me), I have to duck to avoid being whacked in the head by low tree branches, and airplanes feel a bit cramped.

5'10" and i love it too! i wish i were taller! fortunately my dh is 6'4", so i can wear high heels.

i didn't like being tall when i was younger, but i definitely appreciate it now.
