Man- you guys are crackin me up!!

Thank you!!!! I am super excited. We told the family, and everyone is so thrilled.

It's still feelin a little new- I don't think it's quite hit me yet! Before yesterday everything was just wishing/dreaming- now it's actually a reality and I have to actually, I dunno, plan and buy things!

My expected due date should be March 4, 2007, but I haven't been to the doc yet.

Im really happy for you guys Beck! And the next 9 months will fly by. And then the next 10 years go just as fast. Cherish every moment. Trust me. One day you are their entire world. And the next....they are rolling their eyes and grunting that you "suck the fun out of everything". My advice.....teach them to sign. That way you can't hear them whine. I wish I would have done that. Does it sound like I've had a trying day with the sweetpea? Maybe I should change her name from "sweet pea" to "riding my last nerve with no hope of stoping and to bad child abuse is illegal pea".

Don't kill her yet- that'll just negate allthe fun you'll have during her teen years!

Our town is having their homecoming this weekend, and dh walked in the parade. I think the whole town already knows I got a bun in the oven. (Actually, instead of "bun" I'm calling it a baguette- I like those better).

ANd I hope the next 9 months fly, but I also want to savor it, you know? Then again, I don't have really any symptoms yet (except the girls feel sore and heavy, and my mouth is like a desert- can't get enough to drink. Oh, and I eat every meal like it's my last- I have never been so freakin hungry!). So- anyway, if the symptoms are bad maybe I won't want to savor it. We'll see. SIL is already swearing this is her one and only pregnancy.

DH is still working at the homecoming- selling BBQ beef sandwhiches... He's supposed to bring me home a funnel cake, so I hope he hurries!

And, my FIL rocks: every year FIL, BIL and DH walk in the parade and hand out Tootsie Rolls for the KC's. Well, I don't really like Tootsie Rolls, so my FIL always buys me some other candy, and today I got a giant Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!

My daughter made a Reece's dessert thingy she found a WalMart (of course) today in the dessert kit section. She did a really good job - only needed help boiling some water.

AND it was very good Now, if only I can teach her to cook dinner! We are working on laundry and the bathrooms this summer

Oh yeah, I am soooo on board for the painkillers. When I had the sweetpea I was young and a bit naive. I had decided to do it natural with no pain meds. I went the lamaze breathing route. Boy, was that a dumb thing to do. I even made everyone swear that no matter what not to give me anything. Damn so called family and friends. Granted, it was a pretty short labor, but heck, I would have much rather have the drugs. In all honesty, I wish I could still have the drugs today. I think I need them more now.

Hey Becky, you need to tell Stacerita that the people on the Tigger&Belle thread aren't any stranger than the people on this thread. I know, that gives the T&B thread plenty of wiggle room! She wonders how that thread can still be going after 5000 posts, but I told her it's kind of like this thread and that some of the same people post in both places.

Got my hair colored, Im a new woman now. I declined a date for tonight. Just not up for it and especially with who asked me. I'm still trying to write the toast I will be giving at the reception next week.
